5 Under 30: Buntastically Easy Weeknight Recipes

It’s August. And that means the lazy days of summer are packing their bags, saying their goodbyes, and leaving hectic schedules and grumpy families in their wake. We can’t help with the attitude adjustment once school starts–but we CAN help with dinner plans. Check out these five bun-filled recipes that will take you less than 30 minutes to get food on the table – and smiles on their faces. Hey, maybe we can help with that attitude thing!

Chicken Caesar Burger

Here’s a delicious way to wean yourself off the traditional hamburgers of summer, with light flavors that are perfect for August’s lingering heat. Any Ball Park® hamburger bun will do – just be sure to toast them if you want that Caesar-salad-crouton effect. Recipe courtesy of Taste of Home.

BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

We love us some slow-cooker barbecue. But we don’t love the time it takes. This recipe, courtesy of Real Simple, calls for rotisserie chicken – and clocks in at only 10-freaking-minutes. Ball Park®’s Golden Hamburger Buns are a sweet complement.

Bahn Mi Dog

Want to get the kids to try something different? Ease them into it with this simple, quick recipe for Vietnamese-inspired hot dogs. Traditional Vietnamese bread is soft but sturdy – Ball Park®’s classic Hot Dog Buns fit the bill perfectly. Recipe courtesy of Martha Stewart.

Chopped Cheeseburger

Perfect for a late September throwback Thursday, this quick skillet recipe from Delish will give you that summer cookout taste -- without the prep and cleanup. Ball Park®’s Tailgater Gourmet Buns will keep all the goodness in the bun where it belongs.

Chicken Parmesan Subs

Get a little fancy with this take on chicken parm, courtesy of Rachael Ray. You’ll want the larger size and hearty consistency of Ball Park®’s Tailgaters Brat Buns to hold up to the sandwich’s cheesy, saucy deliciousness.
