Are buns your bae? Then show them you care by treating them right. We’re not talking about the condiments you choose to slather them with, or all the awesome recipes you can use them in. None of that matters unless you get your foundation down, and that means prepping your buns the right way. Here’s how.

  1. Toast your hamburger buns for a best-of-both-worlds experience. Toasting your buns adds flavor, texture and structure to your hamburger; alas, if you do it wrong, you’ll end up with too much crunch.
