Nothing beats devouring a juicy hamburger or hot dog while cheering on your favorite team at a basketball watch party – but one thing’s for sure, you gotta come prepared! Strategize your sports fan game plan with the following tips and you’ll be on your way to earning the sweet, sweet title of “Watch Party MVP.”
1. DON’T – Be a Bun Hog
A bun-hog is a person – usually an unlikable one – who won’t share the Ball Park® Buns. We all know that sharing is caring and as tempting as it may be to keep them to yourself, don’t be that person.
2. DO – Champion a Triple-Double
A Triple-Double = three cheesy hamburger patties served up on two Ball Park® Tailgater Buns. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but If you can conquer this feat you’ll earn some pretty rad street cred among your fellow party goers.
3. DON’T – Double Dribble
You know when you’re eating a chili cheese dog and a stream of chili dribbles down your hand - and later, onto your shirt? Leave the dribbling to the pros and keep an extra stash of napkins with you AT ALL TIMES, just in case things get a little messy!
4. DON’T – Be “One-and-Done”
It’s shameful to get sent home early because you could only manage to eat one hot dog or hamburger. Bring out your inner beast and come on an empty stomach so that you can keep up with the rest of the crew.
5. DO – Utilize Timeouts
After eating everything in sight, you’re definitely going to need to recoup. Don’t be afraid to take a break to rest, even nap, before going back for a second or third round.
